Komei Juku Iai Jutsu practices classical Japanese swordsmanship in the tradition of the Samurai. Our tradition is a priceless cultural heritage that has existed since the most ancient days of Japanese history. This art evolved in Tosa, present day Kochi Prefecture, and guided by the Yamauchi Family it became the technique of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iai Jutsu. I inherited this art and wisdom from the 20th Grandmaster Onoe Masamitsu Sensei. I have maintained it, studied it and improved it, passing it on to future Samurai.
Komei Juku demands compassion, the willingness to work for others, selflessness and a desire to improve oneself. A true martial arts discipline promotes the improvement of people and their cultures. Komei Juku endeavors to spread compassion and mercy by training with people around the world, by opening the door widely and demonstrating the strength of Iai Jutsu. Bushido investigators around the world form a clear stream; continuing the transmission of Iai Jutsu. While born in Japan, the world has requested the ancient philosophy of the samurai. To know the aesthetic, the active spirit, the sword and the martial history of an intangible culture. It is the 21st Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iai Jutsu Komei Juku.
